In today’s blog, I am going to recap some of my favourite shows so far and I would also encourage you to take some action off the back.

So why a recap? Well firstly, I am on my way back from holiday.  I took the decision not to do a live show this week as I was not sure about the Wi-Fi but also I think a recap will be helpful. Whether you are recently joining my world or have been in it a while it never hurts to remember what support you have available to you.

Now I love writing content, it appeals to my creative nature hence why I wrote this even though I was by a pool in Majorca!  I could talk about life, weight loss, and everything in between all day every day hence the blog name! But I also want this to be useful to you.  I want it to inspire you to take the actions you need for your well-being and I would love to be part of your world whilst you do it should you decide to join the membership now or in the future where I can guide you with additional resources, training, coaching, and accountability.

My Favourite Shows

First up, has to be the series I did on my unique method the Triple-A-Way™️ and where I would encourage you to start if you were watching a fresh.  The series gives you an insight into some of the content from each of the modules in the main membership program.

It starts with the importance of initial awareness.  You have to know where you are and where you want to get to.  

We are just going through a 5 weeks program on goal setting in the Membership which will also be available for new members as a replay as a standalone course with more bonus courses to come.

Next up it takes you to gathering awareness where I run you through my 4 simple daily steps that help you create your own unique journey and weight loss/well-being path.

It then moves you on to stepping into action.  A key component to your success and I teach you how you can keep it simple with a Capital E.

Next, we have mind nijary, all things mindset and mindfulness that help you work on life and weight loss as they fit and weave together.

To be honest, you could make great progress on your own just by following these basic introductions to the Triple-A-Way™️ Process as you can use them for anything you want or need to work on in life, weight loss or wellness.

You may be thinking, "If this is the case why do I need to join your membership, Faye?

A very good question!  

The simple answer is you do not, you could do all of this by yourself, the power is in you and I am not here to give you the hard sell. But if it was that simple you would have been doing it already right.  I would say that those who commit and invest in themselves, who show up daily no matter what, who take advantage of the life coaching available and join in the community are likely to reach their goals quicker and easier due to the additional support.  

I used to be a lone wolf.  

I joined a program to lose weight but it was a big membership of over 10k people as a result you were easy left behind as there was no personal contact.  It was only because it resonated with me and because of the accountability groups that I formed that I succeeded.  That will not happen in this membership as I intend to keep it small and intimate.  I do not want you to be alone in your journey or to be just a number for the fat cat diet industry.  You and your journey matters!

Motivation & Momentum

Motivation and momentum can come easily when you fully embrace the Triple-A-Way™️ Which I am sure will be a relief to hear as these are the two areas that I see most people quote as a struggle when I see them posting on Facebook and Instagram.  

Motivation and momentum do naturally ebb and flow but you can gather the tools you need to ride these waves.   The two shows I did on Motivation and Momentum give you a taste of what that can look like.

As humans we struggle to do the same thing, day in and day out and not get bored, it can lead to feeling restricted and getting bored.  What then happens is judgement sets in and you start quitting on yourself.  You start to feel bad, declare yourself a failure and then more quits happen and maybe you give up again…cue the life of a yo-yo dieter.

The first step to riding the wave is understanding and acceptance.  Understanding that these things happen and accepting it is normal.  This is what we work on in the Triple-A-Way™️ as once you embrace this concept you move on quicker and find you have fewer quits.  This is why the concept of self-love, compassion and looking at yourself holistically is front and centre. Do not think acceptance means giving up, oh no no no, if anything it is the contrary.  It is a recognition that you are where you are without zero judgement, which gives you the space to make your next best decision from a healthier place instead of fighting reality so you can really make progress.

You always have a choice, you can decide to show up for yourself even if you do not feel like it.  The key is in your thoughts.  Noticing resistance, getting curious and getting creative about how you overcome it.  The resistance at the end of the day is your mind and body telling you something.   The questions are, what is it telling you?  Is it true?  Is it helpful and kind and should you listen to it or not?

Curiosity is the real superpower here as well as keeping the process simple, the way the Triple-A-Way™️ was designed.  Taking small action steps, gathering wins.  This is where consistency lives.  Rather than the usual diet cycle or overeating/restriction which is demoralising as you go 2 steps forward and 3 back, you start to see you are always moving forward which builds motivation and momentum.

Popular Shows

Some of the most popular shows so far have been ditching evening snacking, the 5 E's of Eating and Eating Out with the 5 D's of Action.  As such, these are always worth a revisit as they come up often.  They help you to gather critical awareness to help you in your weight loss journey.  You will currently overeat for a number of reasons, the focus of the traditional diet mentality being "the problem is the food", you may make a declaration of whether you were off-plan or on the plan. This then turns into you saying whether you have been good or bad.  There is no good or bad there just is, it is the why, when, and how that is more critical not the what and your relationship with food.  The judgement that sets in also being the real culprit as it is what leads to sabotage but you can look to overcome it and in doing so you find more joy as you release judgement.  

Life & Weight Loss

As you know, I believe life and weight loss go together.  There are so many things that will crop up that could lead to you derailing on a traditional diet but the tools are not given to overcome it, the only solution offered is 'you need to be more disciplined and 'double down your efforts' which actually may not be true!

Bad days at work, disagreements with family, kids stressing you out, business problems, health problems the list can go on.

Any diet that does not give you support and the tools to help you with these is not really looking after your whole well-being and therefore not really solving the route problems.

For years, you have likely allowed life to impact your choices around food, fitness, health etc leading you to the present day and the human being you are.  You need to work on unwinding some of these old stories if you want lasting success in weight loss.  Knuckling your way through can only take you so far and do you want to be fighting all your life?

All of this content is great.  I would love for you to listen to them all and lap up the #gems contained but you also need to be on your guard for  'content constipation', this is where you spend too much time thinking about what you are going to do and not doing it.

We are at the end of the day like magical magpies... we love a shiny new thing and we want miracles and magic wands so we don't actually have to do the work.

It is your actions that are the key!  The difference between your success or failure in the long term.  The moves you make carry you on your journey to your goals and if you stay in curious action you will never get bored and your success is inevitable.
